Very nice, familiar little place right on the lake, nice restaurant. Approach for the last 500m narrow and no turning possibility for caravans and large motorhomes. Dogs are really very welcome and therefore there are many dogs on the site. If you don't like dogs, you should know that. When the team is fully occupied, the space will be tight.

Super nice operator, but cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired. Staff were friendly, but couldn't speak German. Sad for a German campsite. It's a shame

Very nice, with a great panorama, but poor service, the gentleman was very unfriendly, therefore another restaurant was chosen.

The campsite itself has earned 5 stars. But the restaurant ... or the service ... minus 10 ... We were there on Sunday, September 27th, 2020 ... Disaster ... The lady who served was completely overwhelmed, it took forever, spoke and didn't understand any German ... So then I can't have someone served ... Then it was also sloppy ... we will never find out whether that was a one-off on this Sunday, because we won't go there again . It's a shame, because the pizza there shouldn't be bad ...

Nice little campsite, right on the lake, unfortunately the driveway is a disaster for large teams and mobile homes over 12 meters only single lane over 500 meters with no passing point. The scullery has a motion detector that does not work during the day, but you have your back to the light and it is difficult to see the dishes while washing. At the reception, the language is more English than German, which is what you would expect here. To visit again anyway.

The campsite itself is really great. Access to the lake is certainly its strong point with a jetty and tables in the water. (Don't hesitate to go there at sunset, it's sublime). The sanitary facilities are clean. There is also a restaurant / ne but we do not go there. On the other hand, we have never been so badly received. The manager ... Or at least the man at the reception is as disparaging as possible! We wait ... He doesn't even give us a look and goes about his business. No hello ... Syllabic answers ... We disturb him for sure! It succeeded in spoiling our pleasure ... Hence the note down.

My husband and I wanted to eat here on Sunday, September 13th, 2020. The place was only partially occupied. The staff present were absolutely disinterested and lacking motivation! After waiting around 35 minutes for the service, we left the restaurant on the advice of the next table, because they had already waited 45 minutes for the drinks they had ordered.

Below all dignity. Waiter doesn't speak German. The menu is just hanging on the wall. We only drank one wine. Since the waiter was not able to take a salad with sheep cheese and a salad with strips of turkey in German. After I pointed out to him that we were here in Germany, he wanted to call the police. We paid for our wine and left.

I think it's a shame when people often only have something to naggle about. This year was different from any other year. You made the best of it and that was great !. Don't despair and there will always be complainers. The 3 weeks that we were with you were nice, did you good and we were able to recharge our batteries for the chaos after the vacation. Any other nation would have said to you, wow, great customer service, great campsite, everything clean, beautiful view, respect for your 24 hour job ............ unfortunately many complain and only see the negative . Nice little well laid out campsite. The course is right on the lake with a beautiful jetty. The beach is great, but bathing shoes are a must, as the stones hurt your feet. Pizza from the restaurant was good and the price ok. The biggest problem are the mosquitoes, so always have mosquito repellants with you. Sanitary facilities are OK and clean. There are no problems with dogs either. Shops about 3 km, easily accessible by bike. It would be nice if the operator would offset the reservation fee in full and not just half.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the campsite. The gentleman at the front desk was very rude and seemed very annoyed. Our pitch was just a place on the meadow without electricity and water. After 5 p.m. you couldn't leave the camper because everything was full of mosquitos. And all that then cost 33 euros for one night.

The restaurant is in a pleasant location on Lake Chiemsee and is nicely equipped. However, there are some Communication problems with the basement resulted because he could only speak English. The cyclist ordered was instead a wheat beer. Toilets were also not offered. Perhaps it is only due to the corona time, but a restaurant should basically be able to offer its customers a toilet.

Quiet location right on the lake. Lovingly decorated restaurant. Unfortunately closed. Super location for bike tours or hikes. ?

Great little campsite with direct access to the lake. The staff is friendly and committed to the matter. SUPs are available and water treadles can be used free of charge. There is a bread service. The attached restaurant is also recommended. Due to the size of the space, you should reserve in advance.

Very nice little campsite. Restaurant and sun terrace are lovingly prepared. The lake access is a bit narrow, so unfortunately you can not perceive the beautiful width and size of Lake Chiemsee, but you can rent SUPs and other things to get to the lake.

We visited this restaurant while staying at the camping. The location is awesome and the food is okay too. Not a big menu, but that's not an issue for us. I can recommend this place.

We were there for dinner tonight after watching a report on ZDF. title The Chiemsee - between Beach and Bergalm " We really loved the location, the food the service was all great. Only the weather was for a summer evening (sitting on the terrace) Unfortunately too cold, but with a thicker jacket, it was wonderful :-) The next vacation we will be back.
